INCLUSION

Lollapalooza Berlin sees itself as a festival that wants to be equally accessible to all people. The needs of our visitors with disabilities are particularly important to us. That's why we seek advice from experts on the way to an inclusive festival, so that we can offer all attendees the best possible experience.

In the following, we have summarized the most important information on accessibility. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact our service email barrierefrei@lollapaloozade.com at any time.

FAQs: GETTING THERE – GETTING IN – GETTING ON

To visit Lollapalooza Berlin, you need a regular ticket of your choice. If you are in possession of a disabled person's pass with the mark “B”, “Bl” or “H”, you may take an accompanying person to the festival free of charge. This person requires an additional ticket, which is available in the store under “Accompanying ticket for people with disabilities and impairments”. (To purchase an escort ticket, you must be 18 years or older.)

The accompanying person will have access to all areas that were purchased with the regular ticket.

If you would like to purchase a baby or kids ticket for wheelchair users or for a person with a severe disability plus companion, you can do so via Ticketmaster Customer Service. You can reach them daily between 10:00 and 18:00 on +49 (0)30 - 40818824.

You can get to Lollapalooza barrier-free with the BVG via the subway station Olympiastadion and S-Bahn station Olympiastadion. Both stations have an elevator, which will be checked by us on a daily basis.

There are signposted barriere-free parking spaces, opposite of the Barrier-free Entrance. Access is via Trakehner Allee. Please reserve in advance at barrierefrei@lollapaloozade.com.

The owner of the vehicle does not have to be the person with a disability.

The Barriere-free Entrance is located at the Entrance East (A) and is signposted there.

Individual admission of accompanying persons is not possible here.

Some of the access routes on the festival site consist of meadows, dry grassland, cobblestones and other uneven surfaces. These surfaces can be challenging in places for wheelchair users. We recommend that you bring your accompanying person with you if necessary.

Due to the structural conditions of the Olympic Stadium, the inner festival area (“Perry Stage”) is unfortunately not accessible for wheelchair users. We thank you for your understanding.

However, there are seats for wheelchair users and their accompanying person with a view of the Perry Stage on the inner corridor

There are several barrier-free toilets available on the festival grounds. In the stadium at the west and east curves you will also find water-flushed toilets. There are only barrier-free portable toilets on the Maifeld.

If you notice heavy soiling, please report this to us immediately so that we can quickly remedy the situation.

Three raised platforms for wheelchair users and their companions are located at the following stages: “Mainstage North” | “Mainstage South” | “Alternative Stage”

Please follow the signs.

In the stadium, there are additional spaces for wheelchair users and their companions. There are stadium seats for accompanying persons directly between and next to all wheelchair spaces, which can be flexibly repositioned using a rail system.

Please note: space on the platforms is limited. There is no entitlement to a permanent place. Thank you.

Dynamic lighting effects are used at some concerts and DJ sets. If this poses a health or mental problem for you, we ask you to take good care of yourself and contact our staff quickly if you are not feeling well.

GENERAL

You can register your medication at barrierefrei@lollapaloozade.com. In the case of diabetes, you are allowed to bring your pen into the festival area. Please inform security that you need the pen – not everyone is familiar with this issue. Medication such as asthma sprays, headache tablets and allergy medication do NOT need to be registered.

For prescription medications that fall under the Narcotics Act (cannabis or addiction substitutes) please bring a prescription from your treating physician.

We want to offer you an event that meets your needs and enables you to participate. You are welcome to express your wishes, needs and questions via email to barrierefrei@lollapaloozade.com. We will then try to quickly implement and answer them.

Have you found a barrier that we have overlooked? Then please send us your impressions, and together we will remove this hurdle. You are also welcome to give us feedback after the event, because it is important to us to always be making changes for the better. We will hear your voice and make improvements together.

To make your visit to the festival a pleasant experience with lasting memories, we ask all festivalgoers for tolerance, consideration, civil courage and help in emergencies. Everyone should make a personal contribution to this, because nothing is more important than the safety and security of festivalgoers. For this reason, the organizer and their authorized third parties have domiciliary rights for the entire festival. The instructions of the organizer’s security staff must be followed at all times.

Anyone wearing clothing with an inhumane, homophobic or right-wing extremist theme will not be admitted to the site and will not receive a refund on their ticket. Anyone who attracts attention on the site due to the above-mentioned statements or behavior will be immediately ejected from the premises without a refund.
